How to Schedule a Tweet on Twitter

Learn how to post tweets automatically at the specified date and time

Are you tweeting and the tweet that will be shared should be displayed later? Is there a birthday tweet or something special that needs to be published at that point, at a different time and date?

This is how you can schedule those valuable thoughts whenever you want and they will be published automatically on the exact date and time you schedule them.

Open twitter.com in the web browser on your computer and click the ‘Tweet’ button to open the Tweet box in the pop-up window.

1

Type your tweet in the text area as you normally do. Then, click the ‘Schedule’ button (calendar and clock icon) at the bottom of the tweet box.

2

In the ‘Schedule’ interface that opens, adjust the date and time you want the tweet to display and click on the ‘Confirm’ button in the upper-right corner of the scheduling interface.

3

After you set the date and time, the ‘Tweet’ button in the box will be replaced by the ‘Schedule’ button. Click there and your tweet will be scheduled and automatically publish on the date and time you configure it to go live.

4

Never be late again tweet about something special or important, or both!
